Hello.
I'm Normangorman, an English university student. I like programming and making music.
I am a veteran of many MMOs and love games with good communities. Aether, despite not being released yet, already seems to have a really cool community!
My favourite game at the minute is King Arthur's Gold.
Disclaimer: My real surname is Gorman but my first name is not actually Norman (yes, I'm an imposter).

Gabriel,
Jazz is my thing. I particularly enjoy playing from lead sheets and improvising. I play sax and piano.
Are you a musician?
I've dabbled a bit with electronic stuff before, but haven't found a software tool I like and that isn't crazily complicated. Chiptune seems like it would be fun too - but not sure where to start.

I am into a lot of genres; Sometimes I have weird "phases" too when I listen to things like Mongolian traditional music (pretty dope things, though), and once I listened to classical music for an entire month.
In general I will always enjoy electronic (and the new trend, Trap), but really enjoy fast paced chill music (Direct is one of the artists that does such music). Aside from that I love jazz too. Speaking of improvising and pianos, if you are into that, check out pianoimproman on twitch. He does amazing improvs on any song.
Me? Not a musician myself as I only enjoy listening to songs (a little bit of an audiophile), but I tried making songs too, and have thought of being an audio engineer but realized there is no easy way of making good songs, and it is a very complex procedure, so I gave up.
If you want to make electronic music, you must accept the fact that it will take a lot of time to learn using all the softwares. I wont recommend any software as I have not explored any in-depth, but what I can recommend is checking out deadmau5's twitch channel as he regularly streams making music, and the procedure of it.
